What's included in the setup fee?

Database creation, subdomain configuration (yourcompany.bettercerts.com), initial user accounts, and data migration assistance if switching from another system. These are actual infrastructure costs, not profit centers.

Can I upgrade or downgrade later?

Yes! Upgrade anytime (prorated). Downgrade at next billing cycle. No penalties, no lock-in contracts.

Why are your setup fees so low compared to competitors?

Because we charge actual infrastructure costs plus a small margin for setup time—not profit extraction. Our setup fees are sized to cover several months of your dedicated server resources and initial configuration. Competitors charge $995-1,495 for the same thing. We think that's ridiculous for what amounts to creating a database and user account.
